We love this community of fierce, awesome, and strong women on Instagram who are showing the world that ageing is living. One of the greatest benefits of this platform is the connections that we have made (and continue to make) with women, especially our silver sisters, from across the globe. 
Did you know April is National Poetry month in Canada and the US? This year's theme is Intimacy. There are many ways to celebrate — from memorizing a poem, to attending a poetry reading, to supporting local poets or trying your hand at composing your own poem.

Today, as I was looking for a quote for International Women's Day, I found this one by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. It is from her book, from "Dear Ijeawele, or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions"  Great advice for parents of daughters and of sons. Also good for grandparents! A good way to #BreakTheBias

February is all about love. Can it be a coincidence that my intention for this month was to choose love?
