We love this community of fierce, awesome, and strong women on Instagram who are showing the world that ageing is living. One of the greatest benefits of this platform is the connections that we have made (and continue to make) with women, especially our silver sisters, from across the globe. 
Did you know April is National Poetry month in Canada and the US? This year's theme is Intimacy. There are many ways to celebrate — from memorizing a poem, to attending a poetry reading, to supporting local poets or trying your hand at composing your own poem.

It is from her book, from "Dear Ijeawele, or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions"  Great advice for parents of daughters and of sons. Also good for grandparents! A good way to #BreakTheBias
